Chris Bortz on Community
I think George Zamary said it very well. "Community is home." While each and every one of our 52 neighborhoods is unique and special, it is easy to become trapped in a parochial mindset and forget that we are all part of a larger community. When people come together over a shared experience or shared passion, they create community.
As leaders, we create bridges that will unite us all to work towards the greater good. We strive to ensure that our larger community is one that we can be proud of by ensuring each neighborhood component is healthy and thriving.
