Winburn: Rollback is a Good Start

Living in a representative democracy, we elect our public officials to make these types of difficult decisions on behalf of the population. Taxes are an emotionally-charged issue, and sometimes politicians lose sight of what is important – serving the citizens. $1.39 may not be much, but we have to start sending the message to the taxpayers that we are serious about giving their money back.

If we are concerned about tax relief and tax reform, I am supportive of eliminating the property tax all together. By looking at the big picture and working to eliminate Cincinnati’s property tax, hard-working taxpayers like you and me will finally be able to keep more of what we earn.
