Winburn: Supporting our Priorities

Q. With looming budget deficits, how and will you focus on core services such as safety and building and inspections issues? Joni Mataitis, College Hill

A. Safety and infrastructure issues will always be a top priorities to me which is why I am working on a plan to reduce waste in our city government so that we can maintain and support these priorities. I hope that the mayor and council members will join me in establishing an efficiency committee to review our city's operational and capital budget with view toward waste reductions and cost-savings.
