i can see how this builds upon painter for council's post from monday...

and i quote:

" Vote for Painter!

Vote for Painter for City Council!

* Economic Development!

* Crime Prevention!

* Environmental Action!

www.painterforcouncil.org"

so now we have crime prevention recast as "reduce violent crime 50%" and environmental action restated as "make cincinnati environmentally friendly"

i would still love to hear some actual ideas. you know, instead of talking points or something that looks like the cover of some of the ridiculous junk mail i get in my mailbox every day.

BAD CREDIT, NO PROBLEM!

painter is the cincinnati council candidate equivalent of a spammer.

i don't agree with all of the candidates who are posting to this blog (or more likely, have "staff" posting to this blog), but i honestly appreciate each and every one of them taking the time to try to communicate with the public and explain what they are all about.

apparently painter can't come up with anything useful to say other than the bullet points he and his campaign manager thought up over dinner and drinks someplace.

i suppose any democracy or republic will ultimately elect the government it deserves. if we've got too many people getting their news from the ticker on cnn and the infographics in the usa today, i suppose painter is a shoo-in.

.

For a painter, he certainly isn't very colorful even after the second coat !

Drab, dull and b-o-r-i-n-g !

We think this is one painter who will be sitting the bench (the advertising one) !

Still wet behind the ears and looking to sell ugly things in our community !

Sorry, we're not 'Buying' !

PATHETIC !

HAD ENOUGH:

VOTE NO, on the 'fanatical five' !

VOTE, for a real, DEMOCRAT 2007 !

Painter- you have my Vote! You renovated my neighboring properties when others wouldn't and raised my property value over $50k. You are also very intelligent and progressive. Exactly what our city needs! You have my vote!

Painter
Your endorsement by Dale Mallory explains it all. This is the standard Mallory campaign strategy. Keep your head down, say nothing and smile. If anyone is interested, Google (Dale Mallory, West End Council, CityLink, Police investigation). Should be a real eye opener for folks.

Painter--your posts are ruining the purpose of this blog. It's easy to throw out headlines with no substance. I resent how you waste the time and under-estimate the intelligence of serious voters with your silly exclamations. I know you are very young, but I hate to see how this Forum has been hijacked by you, Pavelish and Jeffre. I had been really enjoying this Forum up to this last week.

Thanks to Eby, Bortz, Harris, Fisher, and other candidates for offering serious ideas and not insulting my intelligence.

I don't know about Painter but you mention that Pavelish and Jeffre hijacked this blog. I appreciate hearing from the candidates. Some candidates did not bother to share their ideas. Where is Crowley, Cranley, Cole, Jeff B, Thomas, etc? Maybe they only want you to hear commercial soundbites. The better candidates have been blogging.
