Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is coming to Cincinnati to raise money on Feb. 26. Look what he told USA Today Friday about his candidacy.
A "very damning" report by the Defense Department's inspector general depicts a Pentagon that purposely manipulated intelligence in an effort to link Saddam Hussein to al-Qaida in the runup to the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
And Peter Bronson is still refusing to admit he was wrong. He should be ashamed of himself, as should the Enquirer for continuing to employ him.
For the life of me, I don't understand the frantic attempts to develop information regarding how we went to war. We are there. Let's put our energies into winning this thing and coming home. Carl Levin is spending inordinate amounts of time and energy investigating the beginning of the war. So senseless when we need the focus of every leader to solve the dilemma that we are now in.

anon: please define " winning" in Iraq. The problem is, Bush and pals keep changing what " winning " means.
We cleared the place of WMD. ( EASY JOB)
We captured/killed saddam.
We have overseen -- I dunno how many elections -- it's official, Iraq is a democracy!
If winning means leaving behind a stable democratic utopia full of peace, love and understanding, lol well my friend -- we ain't EVER " coming home".
Do you understand anything about the region, the people, the culture, the history etc. etc.?
The " war " is OVER! Let the Shi'a militias clean up the al-Qaeda presence in Iraq -- they'd be happy to do it.
Wars of aggression are illegal. You can't just invade and occupy a sovereign country because you have a wild hair! We need to get outta there before the rest of the world declares war on us.
Does that help you understand the frantic attempts to develop information regarding how we went to war?
Clinton/Obama. There it is, folks, the '08 Dem ticket.
If we'd gone with Kerry/McCain, we'd be so much better off today (yes, I would have voted for them as a way to unify our country again)...by the way, it IS Constitutional. The political parties collude with the Electoral College to prevent the option, but it's not illegal to have a President of one party and a VP of another.
Then again, John Mc Cain didn't want to play second fiddle to anyone; he doesn't want to be Vice-President of anything. Let's hope Obama sees the error of that thought.
Barack promises to give the children of illegals a chance of a higher education, what about middle class children of the ones supporting all the give aways where do they stand. Barack take care of the people in this country first.

Look what Peter Bronson told us on August 16, 2002 about Saddam and al-Qaida:
There's ample proof that Saddam collaborated with al-Qaida and Osama.
And look what the Defense Department's inspector general recently told us:

Barack seems like a nice guy. So what!
Name 5 substantive plans he has for solving the USA's most pressing problems without regerfitating the Democrratic Party's platitudes.
